Minimum viable network in the making…

DAO-ing up

Things are taking shape really nicely! We’re aiming to build an MVN (minimum viable network) by the end of June. Shan has been hard at work putting together the minimum viable protocols so that we can begin functioning more like a DAO. So far, we’ve managed:

  • The passing of decisions and project proposals over the agreements process

  • Awarding of $HP to log contributions (we love Colony DAO’s reputation-based structure)

Season #1 —> Season #2

After a season of asking better questions, we’re now putting answers into action.

Active projects this season:

  • Project Vital — a dashboard for the network to connect, learn and grow. Observe how the activities you take part in transforming you as a person. And at the same time, how your intention transcends to others.

  • Project Ritual — a common practice that nourishes mind, body and soul. A grounding yet evolving experience that creates belonging over a shared pursuit for longevity (and healthspan).

Builders and healers who desire to make happily ever after a possibility can join us.

Healing is better when social...

Activating preventative care one community at a time.

MetaGame Community Call (6 Jan)

Jan shared HEA’s vision at MetaGame and discussed opportunities to build communities with a culture of care. Hop into the session retroactively on Youtube.

ADAwell Community Gathering (18 Jan)

Jan led a somatic stress relief meditation at ADAwell’s weekly wellness gathering. It was amazing to witness how just 10 mins of recognising stress affects one's body, can do wonders.

DeSci Singapore x VitaDAO (17 Jan)

Gavin co-hosted DeSci Singapore with VitaDAO. Thought leaders and change makers — Balaji (on 'Network States'), Cat Hu (on funding ), Dong Lu (on science of reproductive health in women), Kamil Pabis (on decentralising aging research) and Tom Howard (on equitable regulatory environment) came together to shape the potential of decentralised research on longevity. To sum it up, longevity is not a new pursuit but accessibility and democratization are creeping up with the maturation of new technologies.

Happy Hour (18 Jan)

We kicked the year off with a body-mind-movement beta experience led by Tatiana Rosa. Participants were led towards greater familiarity with their body-mind connection enhancing the possibility of being present in the moment. It was done through a guided experience of a given body structure and perceptual relationship (specifically the volume of the body, its relationship to space and gravity, and the movements our eyes make to relate to the screen of a communication device). The exchange of participants' feedback built the knowledge of our own experiences with one another. Adding to the complexity and richness of the experience, setting the tone for what our community sets out to be.

And to end this note, here are a couple of reads from The Pink Zone — a research exploration of the intersections in healthy living, technology and public health.

  • A Closer Look at Singapore's Hybrid Healthcare System — with continuous effort from the government, Singapore could be the first nation to achieve a truly preventive healthcare model.

  • Tea Time! for the Brain — the chemistry behind tea's benefits for neurodegenerative disease.

Take Care,

Jan and Tatiana
